What an incredible weekend! A huge thank you to all players, volunteers, supporters, the BVASA Committee, and everyone who helped make this year’s carnival such a success.

The sportsmanship, energy, and community spirit on and off the court were truly fantastic. We loved seeing so many familiar faces — and welcoming new ones too!

A big shout-out to everyone who pitched in with setup, canteen, clean up and all the odd jobs in between.  Events like this simply don’t happen without you.

About Us

What We’re All About

At the Badminton Veterans Association of South Australia, we’re all about keeping the love of badminton alive for players aged 35 and over. We create a welcoming space where players can enjoy both social and competitive badminton, no matter their skill level.

It’s not just about the game—we’re here to build friendships, encourage sportsmanship, and enjoy the camaraderie that comes with being part of a like-minded community. We host regular matches and tournaments, both on our own and in partnership with other associations, to keep things fun, active, and inclusive.

We also proudly support the South Australian Badminton Association in helping to grow the sport at all ages and levels across the state.

How to Apply:

Membership Cost:

  • Metropolitan Membership – $40.00 per year
  • Country Membership – $25.00 per year

Social Badminton Sessions:

  • Tuesday: 10:00am – 12:00 noon – $8.00
  • Thursday: 10:00am – 12:00 noon – $8.00
  • Thursday Evening: 7:30pm – 9:30pm – $8.00
  • Saturday: 2:00pm – 5:00pm – $14.00
