Welcome to the Badminton Veterans Association of South Australia (BVASA)

BVASA is dedicated to promoting the sport of badminton for players aged 35 and over. Whether you’re a competitive player or just enjoy a social hit, our association offers a supportive and inclusive environment for players of all skill levels. We organise regular games, tournaments, and events throughout the year—providing the perfect opportunity to stay active, meet new people, and keep your love of the game alive.

The BVASA Committee wishes to advise that effective immediately, video recording of games or players will NOT BE PERMITTED at any BVASA social badminton sessions or tournaments.

What We’re All About

At the Badminton Veterans Association of South Australia, we’re all about keeping the love of badminton alive for players aged 35 and over. We create a welcoming space where players can enjoy both social and competitive badminton, no matter their skill level.

It’s not just about the game—we’re here to build friendships, encourage sportsmanship, and enjoy the camaraderie that comes with being part of a like-minded community. We host regular matches and tournaments, both on our own and in partnership with other associations, to keep things fun, active, and inclusive.

We also proudly support the South Australian Badminton Association in helping to grow the sport at all ages and levels across the state.

  • Metropolitan Membership – $40.00 per year
  • Country Membership – $25.00 per year

Social Badminton Sessions:

  • Thursday Evening: 7:30pm – 9:30pm – $8.00
  • Saturday: 2:00pm – 5:00pm – $14.00
